A Guide to Glen Arbor

Glen Arbor Guide

Glen Arbor is one of our favorite places to adventure in Northern Michigan. From the town itself, to the endless adventures nearby, we’re here to guide you through some of our favorites.

Play

Nestled near Sleeping Bear Dunes, Manitou Passage is a must-play. Cut through the dense forests of Northern Michigan, this place has it all; a fun layout, great elevation changes, and pure course conditions. Weave your way up the ‘mountainside’ (Sugarloaf Mountain) before getting spit back into the valley. Enjoy the views. The perfect way to start out your Glen Arbor Trip.

Grab Lunch

Cherry Republic (Cherry Public Hour): Out-of-this-world cherry chicken salad. A must-have. Don’t forget the ice cream and cherry shop pitstop.

Art’s Tavern: A classic go-to spot and a fun hang. The place to be.

Good Harbor Grill: Serving up great breakfast, lunch & dinner. A healthier option.

Afternoon Adventures

Kayak the Crystal River: Head to Crystal River Outfitters and get shuttled up the river. Wind your way back down the river for 4.5 miles and enjoy the serenity.

Jump in the lake: a trip to Glen Arbor isn’t complete without jumping in the lake, be it Glen Lake, or Lake Michigan. Go jump in the lake!

Sleeping Bear Dunes: Prepare to have your mind-blown by this place. An absolute staple. Enjoy the Dunes in a variety of ways; The Dune Climb, Empire Bluffs, Pyramid Point, & Pierce Stocking Drive, to name a few.

Fish Lake Michigan: Catching a big fish in Lake Michigan is bucket list. Take in the amazing views of Lake Michigan, Sleeping Bear Dunes, & The Manitou Islands. Reel-in Trout, Salmon and other fish.

Dinner and Fun

River Club: Where Putt Putt meets TopGolf. The newest spot in town, serving up fast-casual Mexican eats, live music on the Crystal River, plenty of spots to hang, eat & drink, and of-course, putt putt.

Blu: an upscale spot with epic views of Lake Michigan.

La Becasse Restaurant: Authentic French dining in Northern Michigan.

Catch Sunset: A trip to Glen Arbor isn’t complete without grabbing some ice cream and watching the sun drop over Lake Michigan.
